JYSK × PFM Intelligence

From an existing footprint to a future-ready partnership.

A solid operational base in Germany, historical installation knowledge and a modern platform form the starting point for the next stage of development.

Step 01 · Background

We are not starting from zero.

Today’s partnership builds on an established DILAX foundation. When PFM acquired the DILAX Retail business, it took over not only the customer relationship, but also valuable technical knowledge about the former JYSK installations.

Then

DILAX at JYSK

Visitor counting and sensor technology were in use across several European JYSK markets.

DILAX Public Spaces—now part of PFM Intelligence Group

In Q4 2025, PFM Intelligence acquired DILAX Public Spaces. Historical store lists, hardware information and sensor configurations therefore remain available as a technical knowledge base.

Today

An active base in Germany

After the international contract ended, the German installations continued under a smaller service agreement.

The international contract was fully terminated. Even so, the technical history remains a valuable starting point for a potential restart.

Step 02 · Where are we today?

A concrete base with established KPIs.

PFM already has an operational footprint at JYSK Germany. The active solution provides In & Out and Occupancy, creating a defined data foundation for the next stage of development.

The active installations already capture visitors entering and leaving as well as current occupancy.

Step 03 · Where do we want to go?

From individual measurement points to a shared data foundation.

The existing sensor estate can become the entry point for a modern Store Performance and Location Intelligence solution—without automatically starting again from scratch.

PFM ADVANTAGE

The platform for the next stage of development.

ADVANTAGE makes location and footfall data centrally available, comparable and actionable. Depending on its condition, existing infrastructure can be reused, upgraded or supplemented with additional sensors and data sources.

  • Central use and visualisation of location and footfall data
  • Customisable dashboards, views and KPIs
  • Comparison of stores, regions and time periods
  • Analysis of trends and store performance
  • Integration of additional sensors and data sources
  • Scalable use across multiple countries

Step 04 · Further planning

Align together. Decide clearly. Scale step by step.

The next step is to define JYSK’s future requirements for store analytics, additional insights and a potential global Future Store solution together.

Proposed approach

From an estate baseline to an international roadmap

01

Verify the historical estate

Across the former JYSK markets, check which stores still exist and whether sensors from the DILAX period remain available and installed. This confirms the realistic starting point for a restart.

02

Align needs & KPIs

Define with JYSK which KPIs, analyses and store views will be relevant going forward.

03

Enable a live demonstration

Prepare the firewall approval so ADVANTAGE can be demonstrated together using real live data.

04

Plan the scale-up together

Agree which stores and countries should be included, when and in what sequence.

Our proposal

Turn the existing foundation into the next advantage—together.
